Greek Islands

The Greek Islands are as varied in their landscape as they are rich in their histories. There are over 1,200 to choose from so there is an island for every adventure: islands full of history and archaeology (Crete, Corfu and Rhodes), islands with a touch of myth and legend (Patmos and Ithaka) and islands where you simply want to kick back and swim (Spetses, Hydra and Kephalonia). We encourage clients to take their own boat to experience the ultimate freedom and enjoy total privacy.

Boat Life

There is no greater sense of freedom than boarding your own private yacht and there are not many places as beautiful to explore by boat as the Greek islands. Over the years we have designed many itineraries around the Greek islands for clients who have rented their own yacht. A typical navigation will last a week and depending on where you choose to go will mix learning with relaxation – enjoying everything from private guided visits to archaeological sites to finding secluded bays of serene beauty for swimming. We can also help advise on renting boats.

Beach Ithaka
Ionian Islands

There are many archipelagos to choose from, but one of our favourites is the Ionian islands: there are Kephalonia’s elegant harbours, beautiful monasteries and medieval castles. Explore Corfu’s Venetian architecture, Parisian style arcades and the abundant wildlife made famous by Gerald Durrell. Ithaka is the island of myths and legend with incredible places to swim. Take a breath-taking cliff-top drive and visit the School of Homer. Visit Lefkada for its famous lace or Zakynthos for the sea water caves. Ionian cuisine is delicious and the islanders welcoming.

Spetses boats
Argosaronic Islands

Spetses is just a couple of hours drive from Athens airport and is the perfect place to wind down. The old port is one of the most beautiful in Greece with its neo-classical villas and when it is time for dinner you can take a horse & cart (no cars allowed).

Crete Knossos

Crete is almost a country on its own and is a wonderful place to explore by car and by boat. A visit to Heraklion and Knossos is a must for the cultural traveller, while those interested in relaxing can head to the lovely Elounda Bay.
