Great Estates

Dorset country house

Introduction

We offer tours to some of England's greatest country houses and estates. These range from day trips outside London to a week exploring a single county. Visits are often to houses never open to the public and are led by the owners themselves. The following itinerary is an example of one of our English country house tours focused on the county of Dorset.

Day 1 Arrival

Depart London and have lunch on arrival at a delicious pub in a pretty village. After lunch visit one of England’s longest continually inhabited houses, which is strictly private, and enjoy a walk around the beautiful gardens. Tea will be in the house. Settle into your luxury country house hotel.
